If I have some small collections, would I still be approved for a Rent with Option to Buy program?
Last modified December 4, 2021No potential Landlord or Lender wants to chase down money or extend credit to someone who either doesn’t have enough money to fit their lifestyle or chronically ignores credit obligations. If you have a couple of NON-Medical Collections (example: old phone, utility bills, small store charge offs on credit cards, our recommendation is that you pay those off and ask the Creditor to “Expunge” that derogatory credit from your Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian credit file. Even if they won’t Expunge the derogatory credit, the Landlord will see that you have paid your bills. Our program will give you time to continue to work on your credit while you’re living in your Dream Home.
